Active Health Week
Health Week was launched on 24 May with a joint Eco Assembly with Rashielea Primary. Both Health Committees led the Assembly by emphasising the importance of making and maintaining good friendships. Thank you to the Health Committees at both Inchinnan and Rashielea Primary School for their hard work preparing Monday’s Assembly.

A variety of activities were also enjoyed by pupils, including basketball, street dance and line dancing! Primaries 1-4 also enjoyed input by Oral Health through the Gladigator Programme. The children were reminded about the importance of good oral hygiene and then enjoyed the inflatable assault course.

Health Week concluded with a joint venture between our own Pupil Council and Eco Committee Health Sub Group. Pupils organised and ran a Mini Olympics with all classes taking part. Activities included javelin, hurdles and high jump. Photographs will be displayed on our website shortly. Thanks to the Committees, who did a great job!

As part of Health Week, Primary 6 & 7 undertook internet safety. This was delivered in partnership with a Guidance Teacher from Park Mains High School. Mrs Scott recommended a useful site to discuss internet safety with your child -‘thinkuknow.co.uk’.
